City of Oxford College have two events scheduled for April 2015 to promote their construction programmes.
The first, on 9 April, will be held at the College's Blackbird Leys Campus and is a 'taster day' for 14 to 19-year-olds. The second, on 28 April, is a launch event at Said Business School to showcase City of Oxford's 'Oxfordshire Centre for Technology, Innovation and Skills' - a new state of the art facility that is being developed with an investment of £8m and will be home to the School of Construction.
This new centre will for the first time offer professional construction programmes to 14-19 year olds so young students can start their construction career pathways earlier.
It is backed by key partners such as Skanska, Kier, Laing O’Rourke and Beard who are helping shape the curriculum and offer live work projects for our students.
